World Language Update!

School District 103 has been working on a priority goal defined in the 2012/2013 Quality Learning Action Plan to implement the best model of world language instruction for our students. The preliminary report and draft implementation plan (with Q & A's) are now posted online at http://www.d103.org/instruction.htm. Katie Reynolds, Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction, and the World  Language Committee members welcome parent inquiries and comments through March 1st. We anticipate a final report will be provided to the Board of Education in March 2013 for consideration.
The World Language Committee would like to thank the parents and staff who have been part of this process through focus groups, meetings and surveys. This collaborative effort has been valuable in bringing the community this new learning opportunity for our students.
